Realme CMO Announces Realme 9 Series

Realme recently announced that the company is currently developing the Realme 9 series which is the successor to the Realme 8 series.


Realme CMO Francis Wong has announced that the company would like to share details related to the Realme 9 series during the upcoming Realme launch event set for September 9.

That way, this event will be quite important because it will also be the debut of products such as Realme 8i, Realme 8s 5G and Realme Pad.


At the moment, there is no detailed information of the Realme 9 series. However, when we look at the habits of the company, it can be assumed that the Realme 9 series will come with the initial configuration of the Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro, along with certain additional models such as the successor to the Realme 8s. 5G and the upcoming Realme 8i.


The launch of the Realme 9 should be interesting, as the Realme 8 offers major upgrades over its predecessor, such as an AMOLED screen on the non-pro variant and a 108MP camera for the Realme 8 Pro, while selling for around IDR 4 million. The Pro model also comes with 50W fast charging, a feature limited to flagships.


It will be interesting to see if the Realme 9 series can revolutionize the budget phone segment by offering 5G devices at never-before-seen prices and competitive specs. So, we'll just have to wait on September 9.
