Realme GT Neo 2 Will Be Officially Announced On September 22

The Realme GT Neo2 has been certified and now we know when it will officially launch. According to the information they released, the Realme GT Neo2 will be released on September 22, as stated on his Weibo account. The event will take place in China at 2 p.m. local time, and hopefully, we'll see the phone make its way overseas soon.

This phone will be aimed at “hardcore players”, according to Realme, and we know it will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and will have a 6.62″ AMOLED display and Full HD+ resolution. In terms of memory, it will appear in China with 12 GB RAM but currently there has never been a GT series smartphone with such a large RAM outside of China.

The Realme GT Neo2 is definitely the successor to the Realme GT Neo, launched on the global scene under the name Realme X7 Max 5G. However, we can't expect the new device to be called X8 or X9 as the company has already confirmed that the “GT is the new X”.

We will have to sit and wait patiently to see if this new phone will retain its name worldwide or Realme will think of another name.
